Residential Garbage Collection

Waste Partners provides dependable, courteous and value priced collection services to residents in the cities of  Backus, Baxter, Brainerd, Breezy Point, Crosslake, East Gull Lake, Fifty Lakes, Hackensack, Jenkins, Lake Shore, Manhattan Beach, Merrifield, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Pillager and Pine River.  We provide our customers with a residential cart on wheels in various sizes to fit their needs.  This allows our drivers to provide a safe and more efficient service to our customers.  Our cart sizes are 35 gallon, 65 gallon and 95 gallon.  We also provide a yellow bag service and a pay per bag drop off site.  We offer a yard waste pick up in the fall and the spring.  Please call the office to inquire about pricing and the service day for your area.

Some items that are NOT acceptable to put in the cart or recycle bin are:

  • automotive fluids - motor oil, antifreeze
  • paint, stains, varnish etc.
  • any hazardous waste
  • fluorescent bulbs (call your local hardware store)
  • tires (can be picked up by special request - call the office)
  • electronics - computer, television, VCR or DVD player, etc. (call the office)

Residential Recycle Collection

Waste Partners provides curbside recycling services to our customers in Brainerd, Breezy Point, Baxter, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Pine River at no additional cost. 
(Some areas not included, please call the office)
  • Glass bottles, jars - clear, green and brown (remove lids and caps, rinse clean)
  • #1 & #2 plastic bottles with a neck - such as milk jugs, pop and water bottles etc. (remove lids and caps, pumps and metal handles and rinse clean
  • Metal/aluminum cans - no need to remove labels (rinse clean)
  • Newspaper/magazines - place loose in a separate paper bag and set next to your recycling container
  • Cardboard -(flatten and tie into a bundle no larger than 3' x 3')

*With a commingle recycle program you do not need to separate the glass, cans or plastic.
